Kirisun
Our primary radio brand, across both push-to-talk over cellular and DMR. We import it, hold it, program it and fix it — and we have built the country’s largest PoC fleet on it.
Being the distributor rather than a reseller changes what we can do for you. We hold inventory, so a fleet order does not wait on a container. We deal directly with the engineers who build the radios, so a hard question gets a real answer rather than a ticket number. And because there is no importer taking a margin between us, the pricing works at the mid-market end where most New Zealand businesses actually sit.
The range runs from a sub-$600 PoC handheld to DMR mobiles, repeaters, a body-worn camera and the web dispatch console we rate as the best in this category. Nine-plus PoC models, against the two or three most suppliers can offer.
Icom
The quality Japanese option, and the one we reach for when a customer wants a premium build rather than the best value.
Icom has been making commercial radio for decades and it shows in the things you only notice after a few years — sealing that holds, audio that stays clean, and hardware that survives being dropped off a truck more than once. The IC-F1000 and F2000 are workhorses in our rental fleet precisely because they come back from events still working.
As an authorised Icom dealer we sell the range, program it, license it and service it. If you already run Icom and want someone in New Zealand who knows it properly, that is us.
Kenwood
One of the longest-standing names in commercial two-way radio, and a brand a lot of New Zealand organisations have standardised on over decades.
Kenwood built its reputation on audio and on hardware that keeps working, which is why you still find their radios in service long after the people who specified them have moved on. For a customer already running a Kenwood fleet, continuity matters more than novelty — matching what is there beats replacing it.
We are an authorised Kenwood dealer, so we can supply new hardware into an existing fleet, program it to match, handle the spectrum licensing and service it here rather than sending it away.
GME
Australian-designed and built, and the brand we point people to when the answer is straightforward licence-free radio rather than a managed network.
GME covers UHF CB, vehicle and marine radio, antennas and safety products. It is rugged, sensibly priced and — importantly — already understood by the people who will use it. For a farm, a convoy, a work site or a boat, that familiarity is worth more than a feature list nobody reads.
We are an authorised GME dealer. Where UHF CB genuinely suits the job we will say so, even though it is the cheaper answer.
Motorola
We supply Motorola, and we repair it in house rather than sending it away. It is widely deployed across New Zealand industry, so we see plenty of it come through the workshop.

A radio is only as good as what it is connected to. This is the half of a system we are least willing to compromise on.
Hi-Tec Aerials
New Zealand antenna specialists, and the first name we reach for on almost every job. Built here, for the conditions and the vehicles that work in them.
Antennas are the part of a radio system that decides whether the rest of it works, and they are also the part that takes the abuse — washdown lances, low branches, roller doors, salt, vibration and years of weather. A locally built antenna designed around that reality outlasts an imported one specified for somewhere milder.
Being able to talk directly to the people who make them also means we can get something specified properly rather than making do with the nearest catalogue match.

Brand-agnostic where it counts
We repair most brands, current and old models
Plenty of workshops will only touch what they supplied. That is convenient for them and useless to you when a radio you bought four years ago from someone else stops working.
Our workshop takes most commercial radio hardware regardless of where it came from — handhelds, mobiles, repeaters, antennas, filters, duplexers and power supplies. It is done in house in New Zealand, not shipped offshore, which is why turnarounds are short.
The same applies to networks we did not build. If you have inherited a repeater system from another supplier, we will maintain it, monitor it and keep it licensed without insisting you replace it first.

- Infrastructure too. Repeaters, filters and duplexers including tuning, and power supplies.
- Licences transferred. We can take over holding and renewing spectrum licences someone else set up.
- Monitoring retrofits. Older equipment can usually be monitored without replacing it.
- No lock-in. Maintaining your system does not require buying ours.
