The Hi-Tec Aerials CX coaxial 1/2 wave aerial gives 3 dB of gain on the 700–1000 MHz cellular bands and needs no ground plane, so it can be mounted in a convenient position on a vehicle or at a base site. Made in New Zealand.

High-performance cellular aerial with no ground plane
Hi-Tec Aerials coaxial half-wave aerials provide high performance across the 700–1000 MHz cellular bands, for vehicle routers, cellular radios and push-to-talk over cellular. Like our mini 1/2 wave and heavy duty models, the coaxial half-wave operates without a ground plane, so it can be mounted in a convenient position on a vehicle or at a base station site.
The radiator is a stainless steel collinear element finished in black epoxy, giving 3 dB of gain. The coaxial matching section sits inside a slim fibreglass tube capped with nickel-plated brass fittings. Low-loss cable is fitted as standard and enters through the 12 mm mounting stud, with a colour-coded band on the cable at the stud to identify the model.
Ordering
Choose the band. As standard the aerial comes with 3 m of RG58 low-loss cable, unterminated, with a 3 dB element and no bracket. You can change the cable length, add a connector (N, BNC, TNC, SMA or FME), add a bracket, or upgrade to the 6 dB WCELCOL6 element. The CX-800 (800–850 MHz) is available on request.
