Procom Duplexers

Procom duplexers let a repeater, base station or duplex mobile transmit and receive on one aerial at the same time. These compact 6-cavity filters cover VHF and UHF and come in versions to suit your duplex spacing.

  • DPF 70/6: UHF 406–500 MHz, 50 W, 5–16 MHz spacing
  • DPF 2/6-150: VHF high power, 150 W, spacing down to 1 MHz
  • DPF 2/6HX150: VHF 136–175 MHz, 100 W, spacing down to 1.3 MHz
  • DPF 2/6: compact VHF, 50 W, 4–20 MHz spacing
  • N type (BNC, TNC, UHF or SMA on request)

One aerial for transmit and receive

A duplexer separates a radio's transmit and receive frequencies so both can share one aerial. It keeps the transmitter's power and noise out of the receiver, up to 85 dB isolation on these models. That saves a second aerial and feeder on repeaters, base stations and full-duplex mobiles.

Choosing a model

  • DPF 70/6: UHF repeaters and base stations, 406–500 MHz, in four versions by duplex spacing (5–7, 7–9, 9–13 and 13–16 MHz).
  • DPF 2/6-150: high-power VHF base stations. Enlarged silver-plated cavities handle 150 W continuous and work at very narrow spacings from 1 MHz. Low (138–156 MHz) and high (152–175 MHz) band versions.
  • DPF 2/6HX150: VHF mobile or base, 136–175 MHz, 100 W, with large helical resonators for spacing down to 1.3 MHz.
  • DPF 2/6: compact VHF duplexer for duplex radios, 50 W, low and high band versions for 4–20 MHz spacing.

These duplexers are designed for single-frequency Tx/Rx and can be tuned for multi-channel use with slightly reduced performance. Factory tuning is recommended for multi-channel. Send us your Tx and Rx frequencies when ordering. Variations marked "Stocked item" are normally held by Hi-Tec Aerials. Others are by order.
