The Hi-Tec Aerials PRO-SHDU is a rugged professional UHF shrouded dipole for base stations and repeaters in harsh conditions. The dipole sits in a UV-protected PVC radome on an anodised aluminium boom, and it comes with an end mount clamp ready to fit to a 48 mm tube.

A tough, simple UHF dipole
The PRO-SHDU is built for exposed sites. The dipole assembly is housed in a UV-protected PVC radome, and the centre feed exits through a tee onto a 38 mm OD × 3 mm wall anodised aluminium boom, with the RG213 coax run down the centre of the boom for protection. It is supplied with a fitted end mount clamp for a vertical 48 mm OD tube.
Choose your band
Select the band that covers your channels: 400–450, 425–475, 450–500 or 495–505 MHz. Each has a 50 MHz bandwidth.
Standard build and customisation
As standard, each dipole has a 1 m RG213 tail with an N plug and an end mount clamp. You can customise the cable type and cable length (see coax cable), the connector (N jack or BNC plug, see connectors) and the mounting. A reflector element can be added to make a 2-element shrouded yagi with 3 dB gain. Contact us for a quote on a custom configuration.
