Magnetic Mounting
Magnetic mount antennas provide a practical portable or temporary antenna solution for VHF and UHF applications. The standard MAGM mount is designed for use with 1/4 wave antenna elements and can be completed with an AP-011 or AP-012 adaptor and whip.
The strong magnetic base is capable of holding the antenna upright at speeds over 100km/hr and is supplied with a 3.5m RG58 low loss cable terminated with a PL259 connector. Other connector options are available on request.
For ground-independent installations, the MAG-M1/2 range offers a mini 1/2 wave VHF or UHF antenna built onto a magnetic mount base, supplied with a 5m RG58 coax tail as standard.

An alternative to the standard MAGM is the MAG-M1/2 range which is a VHF or UHF mini 1/2w built onto a magnetic mount base. This arrangement has the advantage of a ground independent antenna that can be mounted in any location. A 5m RG58 coax tail is fitted as standard.
