VHF Alpine Dipole

$1,999.94 inc GST

The Hi-Tec Aerials PRO-ADV is an all-steel, all-weather VHF dipole for high, exposed sites. It is built to survive high winds and heavy ice that would damage lighter antennas.

  • Two bands: 135–160 MHz (low) or 150–174 MHz (high)
  • All-steel construction, DC grounded element and boom
  • Satin black powder coat over galvanised steel to help shed ice and snow
  • N jack connector, supplied without cable or clamp
  • Heavy-duty cross clamp recommended (sold separately)

Built for alpine and high sites

Mountain-top repeater sites face wind, rime ice and snow that can bend or detune standard antennas. The PRO-ADV is made entirely of steel, so the radiating element and boom are DC grounded and strong enough for high wind loading and severe ice build-up. A satin black powder coat over galvanised steel protects it for years and helps it shed ice and snow quickly when conditions allow.

Choose your band

Select the low band (135–160 MHz, 25 MHz bandwidth) or high band (150–174 MHz, 24 MHz bandwidth) version to cover your channels.

Connection and mounting

The PRO-ADV has an N jack connector and is supplied without a cable, so you can fit the right feeder or cable lead for your site. The heavy-duty cross clamp is recommended. It mounts the antenna to vertical 38 mm or 48 mm rigging and can be ordered with it. Contact us if you need a different configuration.
