Heavy duty VHF marine aerial built for salt and spray
The Hi-Tec Aerials heavy duty 1/2 wave (HD1/2MM) covers the 156–162 MHz VHF marine band with unity gain and an omnidirectional pattern. A rugged moulded nylon base is fitted with an 890 mm stainless steel whip, and it's supplied with 5 m of RG58 coax terminated with an N plug, plus a right-angle mounting bracket.
The supplied right-angle bracket makes mounting simple, or it can mount through a 12 mm hole or onto another stainless steel bracket. An extended 40 mm mounting stud is available on request. Choose white with white RG58 cable, or black with black RG58 cable. The same design is used in our heavy duty 1/2 wave aerials for land vehicles.
