The Hi-Tec Aerials LP-HD-UHF is a heavy duty low profile UHF aerial for bus and truck fleets, railways and machinery where overhead clearance is limited. Made in New Zealand.

A heavy duty low profile UHF aerial for fleets and rail
Hi-Tec Aerials low profile antennas are special application antennas for installations with minimal overhead clearance and where vibration may be severe, such as railway locomotives, forestry machinery, and bus and truck fleets. The radiation pattern is equivalent to a 1/4 wave antenna, vertically polarised when mounted on a horizontal ground plane, and essentially omnidirectional.
The LP-HD-UHF is a heavy duty design, manufactured from cast aluminium for bus and truck fleets and railway use. A hardwired RG58 coax tail is fitted as standard, and it can be supplied with or without a ground plane, so it can be mounted in any location. It has a black powder coat finish (other colours on request) and is supplied factory tuned.
