VHF marine aerials built for salt and spray
Hi-Tec Aerials marine band half-wave aerials cover the 156–162 MHz VHF marine band with unity gain and an omnidirectional pattern. Both styles are supplied with 5 m of coax cable, unterminated, ready to fit your connector.
Heavy duty 1/2 wave (HD1/2MM)
A rugged moulded nylon base fitted with an 890 mm stainless steel whip. It mounts through a 12 mm hole or onto a stainless steel bracket, and an extended 40 mm mounting stud is available on request. Available in white with white RG58 cable, or black with black RG58 cable. The same design is used in our heavy duty 1/2 wave aerials for land vehicles.
Fibreglass 1/2 wave on tilt base (MAR-MM1/2)
A half-wave aerial fitted inside a tapered white fibreglass radome, mounted on a fully adjustable plastic marine tilt base so it can be lowered for trailering or storage. Supplied with 5 m of white RG58 cable.
Ordering
Choose the model. You can change the cable length, add an FME connector (see connectors) or a bracket, or order the heavy duty base with no whip. Contact us for a custom configuration.
