Run a mobile radio as a base station
Mobile two-way radios are designed to run from a vehicle's 12 V system. To use one indoors as a base station, for dispatch or at a depot, it needs a clean, stable 13.8 V DC supply. This AC/DC converter runs from 240 V mains and delivers 13.8 V DC at up to 240 W, which comfortably covers the transmit current of our mobile radios.
The power supply is housed in a compact, ventilated metal case with a front panel on/off switch, suitable for a desk, shelf or equipment cabinet.
