Kirisun DS6000 Entry Level DMR Trunking System – Tier 3
Price on application
The Kirisun DS6000 is an entry-level DMR Tier III trunking system that scales from a single site to a multi-region network. Modular base stations, built-in GPS synchronisation, multi-level redundancy, dispatch and recording, plus PSTN/PABX interconnect. Designed, installed and supported by Signals NZ, Kirisun’s exclusive New Zealand distributor.
The Kirisun DS6000 is a DMR Tier III trunking system for organisations that have outgrown conventional repeaters. Trunking shares a pool of channels automatically between users, so more people can talk at once on fewer frequencies, with priority and emergency calls always getting through.
This DMR trunking system is modular and scales with you: start with a single base station for a site or small area, grow to multiple stations under unified management, or build a multi-region network covering a city or region. It's a proven platform for public safety, airports, ports, rail, oil and gas, utilities and city management. Signals NZ is Kirisun's exclusive New Zealand distributor and designs, installs and supports complete trunked networks.
Key features
- DMR Tier III trunking: efficient channel sharing with priority calls, emergency calls, call transfer and caller ID.
- Scalable design: single base station, single-region multi-station or multi-region deployments.
- Modular base stations: up to four carriers per cabinet at 40–45 W per carrier, with channel controller and transceiver integrated.
- Built-in GPS synchronisation: the channel controller keeps the network precisely in sync.
- Multi-level redundancy: backup at transceiver, channel controller and switch level.
- Dispatch and recording: voice, text messaging, location and audio recording from dispatch consoles.
- Telephone interconnect: link to PSTN/PABX over IP, E1 or 4G bearer networks.

Design, installation & support
A trunked network is designed around your coverage, user numbers and call patterns. We start by understanding how your teams work, then carry out site surveys and coverage modelling, design and install the system, and test it on site. Signals NZ handles the RSM licensing for every channel, and our radio service team can monitor your network in real time once it's live.
Build your system
The DS6000 works with Tier III capable Kirisun radios such as the DP990 handheld and TM840 mobile, and the intrinsically safe DP810/815. For a conventional IP multi-site network with dispatch, see the Kirisun DS5500.
