The Waka Data WD640 is a professional 4G vehicle tracker for heavy vehicles, trucks and specialised transport. Dual-SIM LTE Cat 1 with 3G/2G fallback, multi-constellation GNSS, CAN bus and FMS data, fuel monitoring and a wide range of inputs and outputs. Installed and supported by Signals NZ on the Waka Data fleet platform.
The Waka Data WD640 is our most capable vehicle tracker, built for trucks, buses, heavy machinery and specialised transport where you need more than just a dot on a map. It connects over 4G LTE Cat 1 with 3G and 2G fallback, uses GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS for accurate positioning, and reads engine and vehicle data straight from the CAN bus.
With four digital inputs, four outputs, four analogue inputs, RS232, RS485, 1-Wire and dual CAN, this 4G vehicle tracker connects to fuel sensors, RFID and iButton driver ID, temperature probes, tyre-pressure sensors and more. It reports through Waka Data, Signals NZ's GPS and fleet management platform, so you get live tracking, driver behaviour reporting and alerts in one place.
