The Icom IC-FR5300 (VHF) and IC-FR6300 (UHF) are second-generation IDAS digital repeaters: two channels in one 2U rack box, with analogue and NXDN digital, and an upgrade path from a single site to simulcast and multi-site trunking. Signals is an authorised Icom dealer.

Two repeaters in one 2U box
The IC-FR5300 series is Icom's second-generation IDAS repeater. It keeps system compatibility with the original IC-FR5000 series on a completely new CPU and FPGA platform, and frequency stability can be tightened to ±0.1 ppm using a 1 pps reference from a GNSS antenna.
Fit an optional UR-FR5300 (VHF) or UR-FR6300 (UHF) module and the chassis runs two independent repeaters, saving rack space and cost at the site. Each repeater delivers 50 W at 50% duty cycle, or 25 W at 100% duty cycle for continuous use.
Grow from one site to a wide-area network
With the optional UC-FR5300 controller board and CF card, the same repeater scales from a single site to digital simulcast, multi-site conventional or multi-site trunking (trunking needs compatible IDAS radios). Mixed analogue and digital operation lets you migrate a fleet gradually, decoding up to 16 CTCSS, DTCS or RAN codes per channel.
Built for remote sites
IP remote maintenance lets you program the repeater and set its IP address over the network, with SNMP traps and Syslog for monitoring. A programmable 25-pin D-SUB accessory connector handles external control and audio. The front panel has a 12-digit display, five programmable buttons and an internal speaker. Receiver voting, CW ID, DTMF, 5-tone decode, a low-voltage alert and VE-PG4 RoIP gateway support are built in.
