The Kirisun K-R600 is a next-generation Tier 2 DMR repeater for organisations that need dependable coverage across a large site, a region or several sites linked together. It runs in both analogue and digital and switches between them automatically, so you can move an analogue fleet to DMR in stages rather than replacing every radio at once.

Available in VHF (136–174 MHz) or UHF (400–470 MHz), this DMR repeater packs 5–50 W RF output, 2048 channels, a 100% duty cycle and IP networking into a single 1U rack unit. Signals NZ is Kirisun's exclusive New Zealand distributor, so you get local support, programming and service from the team that brings the brand into the country.

Key features

  • Multi-site IP linking: connect several K-R600 repeaters over IP to cover a wide area, with voice calls, text messaging, location and recording across every site.
  • Built-in SIP gateway: link your radio network to phone systems and third-party platforms without a separate gateway.
  • Network management: standard AIS and SNMP interfaces for central monitoring, plus a DB26 expansion port for custom integrations.
  • Battery backup: charges a backup battery while running on mains power and switches over automatically if the power fails, so your network stays up.
  • Analogue and digital: intelligent signal recognition switches between analogue and DMR automatically, ideal for staged migrations.
  • Clear front panel: a 2.0-inch colour display shows status and channel information at a glance, with a hand microphone input and built-in speaker for local monitoring.
  • Built for continuous use: 100% duty cycle and dual-fan cooling for round-the-clock operation.

Licensing & installation

Every repeater needs a licensed channel. Signals NZ handles the whole RSM licensing process for you: applying, coordinating frequencies, holding the licence and managing renewals. Engineered repeater channels typically take 1–4 weeks, depending on complexity.

We design coverage around how your team works, with site surveys, repeater modelling and on-site testing after installation. Once your network is live, our radio service team can monitor it in real time to spot and fix issues quickly, alongside routine maintenance.

Complete your system

Pair the K-R600 with a Procom duplexer or VHF 4-cavity duplexer, a base station antenna and quality coax cable. Looking at options? Compare the Kirisun TR850 Tier 2 DMR repeater, or step up to trunking with the Kirisun DS6000 Tier 3 system.

Request a system quote and we'll scope the right repeater setup for your coverage needs.
