The Icom IC-A120E is a top-performance mobile VHF airband radio for ground vehicles, airside operations and base installations. It delivers 36 W PEP (9 W carrier), 8.33/25 kHz channel spacing, built-in Active Noise Cancelling for noisy airport environments and IP54 dust and water resistance, with optional Bluetooth headset connectivity.
The Icom IC-A120E is built for ground use: airport service vehicles, tugs and ground support equipment, fuel trucks, fire and rescue vehicles, and airfield operations rooms. Its 36 W PEP (9 W carrier) output gives strong, reliable range, and it runs from either 12 V or 24 V systems, so it suits cars, trucks and heavy vehicles alike.
Built-in Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) reduces background noise in both received and transmitted audio, which makes a real difference among running engines and aircraft. The Automatic Noise Limiter (ANL) cuts pulse-type noise such as engine ignition. IP54 dust protection and water resistance mean it can also be fitted in open-air vehicles.
