A simple, broadband HF base antenna
The Icom AH-710 is a folded dipole for HF base stations, homesteads, camps and other fixed sites. Because it's broadband across 1.9–30 MHz, it works on any channel in that range without an antenna tuner. Just string it between two supports, connect the supplied coax, and you're on air.
It's rated to 150 W, so it suits Icom HF transceivers such as the IC-F8101 (up to 125 W PEP) and Icom's marine MF/HF and amateur HF radios. For vehicle or whip installations, or to cover frequencies below 1.9 MHz, use the Icom AT-140 automatic antenna tuner with a whip or long-wire element instead.
