The GME AE4012 is a 6.6 dBi UHF CB antenna on an elevated-feed base. The raised feed point makes it ground independent, so it performs properly on bull bars, brackets and other mounts with no ground plane. It comes complete with base, stainless steel whip and 5 m of low-loss coax. Choose the AE4012K1, or the AE4012K2 with a light duty spring. Signals is an authorised GME dealer.

Ground independent UHF CB on any mount

Standard whips need a metal roof or panel underneath them to work as a ground plane. The AE4012's elevated-feed base raises the feed point and builds that function into the antenna, so it performs properly on a bull bar tab, mirror bracket or other mount where there's no ground plane. That makes it a popular choice for 4WDs, utes and farm vehicles.

The 6.6 dBi stainless steel whip gives a good balance of range on open roads and coverage in hilly country. The whip is interchangeable, so you can swap to a shorter 2.1 dBi whip for a broader pattern that is less affected by obstacles in steep or bush terrain.
