Short, flexible UHF aerials for handhelds and vehicles

Hi-Tec Aerials helical and quarter-wave aerials are designed for handheld transceivers, and for any application where a shortened aerial is needed. They are available for UHF bands and can be built for any customer-specified frequency.

The helical radiating element is a high-tensile coil assembly, plated to improve radiation efficiency, and encased in a silicone rubber tube for a very flexible and durable aerial. The flexi quarter-wave models offer a full-length element for better performance where length is not a problem. Wideband quarter-wave solid core whips are also available that screw directly onto our Hi-Tec bases.

Ordering

Choose the aerial type, the fitting (Hi-Tec base, BNC plug, TNC plug or PL259) and the band. The models below are examples; for a different frequency, the band code at the end of the part number changes. The models below are priced and ready to order. For other frequencies or fittings, contact us with your radio model and frequency and we will quote the right aerial.
