The Waka Data WD800 is a plug-and-play 4G OBDII GPS tracker: plug it into the vehicle’s diagnostic port and it’s tracking in seconds, with no wiring. LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback, multi-constellation GNSS, Bluetooth LE and accelerometer-based crash detection and eco-driving reporting. Supplied and supported by Signals NZ on the Waka Data fleet platform.
The Waka Data WD800 is the quickest way to start tracking a vehicle. It plugs straight into the OBDII diagnostic port found in most cars, utes and vans, so there's no wiring and no installation downtime. Within seconds it's connected and reporting location, trips and driving behaviour through Waka Data, Signals NZ's GPS and fleet management platform.
This OBDII GPS tracker connects over 4G LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback, uses GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS for accurate positioning, and its 3-axis accelerometer detects crashes and reports eco-driving. Bluetooth LE lets you add wireless beacons and sensors. It's ideal for light fleets, pool vehicles, rentals, car sharing, deliveries and anyone who wants simple, affordable tracking.

Set up and supported by Signals NZ
We configure every tracker on Waka Data before it reaches you and stay hands-on for the life of your fleet. Choose simple tracking or the full feature set, and we'll set up the platform to suit how you run your vehicles. For permanent, tamper-resistant installs, our technicians can fit a hard-wired tracker instead, and we can fit GPS at the same time as radio work. We're also a solution partner for RUC Monkey, so we can help with electronic road user charges.
