GME AE4006 1200mm UHF Whip

High gain for maximum UHF CB range

At 8.1 dBi, the AE4006 concentrates its signal towards the horizon for the longest possible range on UHF CB. That makes it the right choice for highways, plains and open farmland, where it reaches further than lower-gain antennas. In very hilly or broken terrain, a lower-gain antenna such as the GME AE3700B 6.6 dBi can give more even coverage.

The whip is built around a heavy duty braided copper element inside a fibreglass radome with a black heat-shrink finish, with a polished stainless steel ferrule. It's a ground dependent design, so mount it on a metal roof, bonnet or panel that acts as the ground plane.

This is the whip only. It uses the standard 5/16" × 26 TPI thread and fits the GME AB406 magnetic mount base for a no-drill install. For a shorter, low-profile option, see the GME 150 mm UHF CB whip.
