The GME AE4706 is a 2100 mm heavy duty UHF CB antenna with 8.1 dBi gain, built for 4WD enthusiasts who need a robust antenna for hard off-roading and long-distance touring. A tapered fibreglass radome on a heavy duty stainless barrel spring takes the punishment, and the high gain reaches as far as possible across open country. Choose black (AE4706B) or white (AE4706). Maximum range for serious touring
At 8.1 dBi, the AE4706 concentrates its signal towards the horizon for the longest possible UHF CB range on highways, plains and open outback country. That makes it the go-to for convoy travel and remote touring, where staying in contact over distance matters most. In very hilly terrain a lower-gain antenna such as the GME AE4702 6.6 dBi can give more even coverage.
It's built for hard use. The tapered fibreglass radome sits on a heavy duty 631 stainless steel barrel spring that copes with corrugations, branches and rough tracks. The design is ground independent, so it performs properly on a bull bar tab or heavy duty bracket, and the whip is interchangeable as part of GME's AE470x system. The lead comes pre-terminated with an FME connector for a neat install.
Pair it with a GME UHF CB radio such as the TX4500S DIN mount, compact TX3350 / TX3500S range or TX3100.
