The GME AE4702 is a 6.6 dBi UHF CB antenna with a tapered fibreglass radome on a medium duty stainless spring base, a popular choice for 4WDs and touring vehicles. It’s ground independent, so it performs properly on bull bars and brackets, and the whip is interchangeable if you want a different gain later. Choose black (AE4702B) or white (AE4702). A touring favourite for UHF CB
The AE4702 is part of GME's AE470x radome antenna system, built around a range of spring bases and user-interchangeable whips. The 6.6 dBi whip gives an even balance of range on highways and open country with coverage in hilly and broken terrain, which is why it's one of the most popular choices for 4WDs and touring vehicles.
The tapered fibreglass radome sits on a medium duty stainless steel barrel spring that flexes on branches and absorbs corrugations. It's ground independent, so it works properly on a bull bar tab or mounting bracket with no metal roof underneath, and the lead comes pre-terminated with an FME connector for a neat install. Choose a black radome and spring (AE4702B) or a white radome on brushed stainless (AE4702).
