The GME AE4018 kits pair a 6.6 dBi fibreglass collinear UHF CB whip with GME’s elevated-feed base, so the antenna is ground independent and performs properly on bull bars and brackets. A heavy duty braided copper element inside a black heat-shrunk fibreglass whip gives strong all-round range. Choose from four kits with no spring, a light duty spring or a medium duty barrel spring, in brushed stainless or full black. Made in Australia. Signals is an authorised GME dealer.

Ground independent fibreglass UHF CB
The AE4018 range combines GME's fibreglass collinear whip with an elevated-feed base. Raising the feed point builds the ground plane into the antenna, so it works properly on a bull bar tab or bracket with no metal roof underneath. The 6.6 dBi whip gives a good balance of range on open roads and coverage in hilly country, and the braided copper element in a black heat-shrunk fibreglass radome is built for hard use on 4WD, farm and work vehicles.
The kits differ in spring and finish. A spring lets the antenna flex on branches and bounce back, and the medium duty barrel spring suits rougher tracks and heavier knocks. The AE4018BK1 is finished in black throughout for a stealth look.
