The GME AE4018 is a 640 mm fibreglass collinear UHF CB antenna whip with 6.6 dBi gain. A heavy duty braided copper element in a black heat-shrunk fibreglass whip gives strong all-round range in a compact length. Compact fibreglass UHF CB whip

The AE4018 gives 6.6 dBi of gain in a 640 mm fibreglass whip, balancing range on open roads with coverage in hillier country, without the height of a 1200 mm antenna. The heavy duty braided copper collinear element sits inside a fibreglass radome with a black heat-shrink finish for a clean, durable look.

It's the whip only. GME lists it for its elevated-feed bases, including the base supplied with the GME AE4012 elevated feed antenna kit, so it's an easy upgrade or replacement whip for that set-up. The two versions differ only in the ferrule finish: polished stainless steel on the AE4018, or black stainless on the AE4018B to match a fully black install.

Other GME UHF CB whips: the 600 mm stainless steel whip and the AE4006 1200 mm 8.1 dBi whip for maximum range. Pair it with a GME UHF CB radio such as the compact TX3350 / TX3500S range or TX4500S DIN mount.
