Pre-tuned AM CB whips
These GME black fibreglass whips are pre-tuned for 26 MHz AM CB, so they're ready to fit without trimming or adjustment. Choose a shorter whip to keep the install low for car parks and branches, or a longer one for more range on the open road.
They're a ground dependent design, so mount on a metal roof, bonnet, guard or bracket that is well bonded to the vehicle body. They are the whip only and fit to a compatible AM CB antenna base, sold separately. For a bull bar or bracket install with no ground plane, see the GME AE220N ground independent antenna.
26 MHz AM CB is a separate band from UHF CB, so these work only with AM CB radios such as the GME TX2720N. Other AM CB options: the AE2007N 1200 mm stainless whip, the AE2001 320 mm helical and the Hi-Tec Aerials AM CB aerials.
