Rigging Pipe Clamp

The Hi-Tec Aerials Rigging Pipe Clamp mounts a vertical rigging pipe to a wooden pole, standing it 150 mm off the pole. That gives aerials clearance from the pole on power, telecommunications and farm poles.

Rigging pipe on wooden poles
When a site uses a wooden pole, the Rigging Pipe Clamp is the standard way to stand off a vertical pipe for aerials. It holds a 48 mm OD pipe (standard 2" galvanised water pipe) 150 mm from the pole, giving whips, collinears and yagis clearance from the pole and other equipment. Use two or more clamps up the pole to support a full-length rigging pipe.
Fixes with coach screws or straps
The clamp fixes to poles from 150 to 1000 mm diameter with coach screws or band-it straps through six 12.5 mm holes. A hole opposite the securing nut lets you fit a through bolt to the lowest clamp, so the pipe can't slide down. Hot-dip galvanised steel gives long life outdoors.
Three versions
- CL-RP: standard clamp for 48 mm OD pipe.
- CL-RP-89: for 89 mm pipe, for larger masts and heavier aerial loads.
- CL-RPF: flat-bottomed version.
