Fascia Mounts & Stays
Price range: $52.33 through $79.53 inc GST
Hi-Tec Aerials fascia mounts and stays are a simple way to put an aerial above the roofline of a house, shed or building without a tower. The curved “hockey stick” mount fixes to the fascia board, and telescopic stays brace it to the roof for a solid, wind-resistant install.
- Hockey stick fascia mount, 1.2 m or 2 m
- Telescopic stays, adjustable 0.9–1.6 m
- Suits yagis, collinears and whips for base stations and farm radio
Get your aerial above the roofline
Height is the cheapest way to improve radio range. A fascia mount gets a base station aerial clear of the roof and gutters, and away from metal cladding, without a mast or tower. It's ideal for farm and rural base stations, small business base radios, UHF CB and cellular aerials.
How it fits together
- Hockey stick fascia mount (FM-1.2 or FM-2): the curved mount fixes to the fascia board and rises up past the gutter and roof edge. Choose 1.2 m or 2 m depending on how high you need the aerial and the roof pitch.
- Telescopic stays (FM-STTEL-1.6): adjustable from 0.9 to 1.6 m, they brace the mount back to the roof so it stays rigid in strong wind. Recommended for larger aerials, exposed sites and the 2 m mount.
Fix the aerial to the top with saddle clamps, mounting clamps or the Universal Clamp. Suitable aerials include our yagis and folded dipoles.
